- Josh is a horticulturalist who grew up in the up-state working in peaches and landscaping before spending 20 years as a paratrooper in the military.  He understands the importance of proper planting techniques and plant maintenance, as well as greenhouse operations.  He oversees the daily operations of our nursery as well as maintaining relationships with many South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia growers.  Keeping even a small nursery like ours operating is a full time job so if you can't seem to catch him at the nursery just leave a message for him to give you a call.

- Shannon has a Bachelor's of Science degree in plant physiology.  That means she has always loved pants and studying the way they grow.  It also means she is very particular about the plants we sell.  All of our shrubs and trees are grown local in the zone we live in.  Although box store plants may look the same at first, many times they are trucked in from several states away and out of zone making them vulnerable to shock with the first season change.  If you care about the longevity of your plants, buy from a nursery and ask the experts about their growing condition and how best to take care of them.  You can't get that from a seasonal box store worker.

Trucking material.  We carry three colors of mulch, compost, and several different types of gravel and stone.  Our trucks run daily residential and commercial. We haul #57, #789, and crusher run straight from the local quarries.  We haul quality top soil, sand, sand clay, masonry sand and the best compost on the planet.  We also haul river rock straight from the quarry.  Our single axle dump trucks can haul up to 10 tons.

If you're a DIY kind of person you can come to the nursery where we keep these materials on hand and we'll load your pick-up truck, trailer, or whatever you're driving.
